(The
effectiveness of learning vocabulary through games)
Vocabulary has
an important role for people to make them easy in communication. In order to
cummunicate well in foreign language we must have vocabulary mastering whether
it helps us to speak fluently. Sometimes, Learning vocabulary will feel bored
by students because they haven't changed their habit, such as writing words on
a paper. So, for avoid this happening, we should develop students' interesting
in learning Vocabulary. Teacher should use another strategy to develop their
interest. Therefore, the most effective strategy is using game through
vocabulary learning. To measure the effectiveness of learning through game in
the classroom, as the teacher we want to know how students'
experience help with their learning and what process they gain. For many learners of English, whenever
they think of vocabulary, they think of learning a list of new words with meanings
in their native language without any real context practice. A number of
learners may share the same experience of looking up words in a bilingual
dictionary to find their meanings or definitions when they encounternew words.
They may even write down lines of new words without any idea of the real use of
them in context. So, teach them using games exactly will develop their
interest.
